The key to power in your career is to remember that we are there to provide some kind of service. The perfect career emerges from deep within you. It isn’t something you find, but rather something that evolves as you get to know yourself. When you are aligned within yourself ( in balance), then you will naturally find your perfect path. If you are having problems with your job, the problem is not out there, but rather it is within you and how you are responding to the people and situations around you. If you are unemployed , it is important to go out and do some kind of volunteer work, so you can start to make your work a conduit to love.
Let’s say that you have a job that you go to every day. You may not like the nature of the job or perhaps you feel like it is a dead-end position. You can still be in balance by changing the way you think about your job. Try to dedicate yourself to be an instrument of good each day. Think of your workplace as a place you go to give and receive love. It’s quite simple, so don’t complicate things. Receive love, give love and minister love. As I used to say to my children when they were young, “Put nice into everything you do or say”. Surround yourself with positive energy before you even arrive at work. By blessing and giving love to even the most difficult person or situation, you will soon learn to enjoy your work even though it may not be the perfect place for you. By making your work a conduit to love, you are brightening the workplace and bringing light to those around you. Do your greatest good, by allowing your work to heal those around you. Always see yourself as a blessing to the world. Look at every issue at work as a lesson or opportunity for growth. Don’t worry that your current job or career is not right. By doing this inner work a job that isn’t right will fall away. Just be patient, continue to bless your work and miracles will eventually happen. The important thing is that you do your best work and put good into everything that you do.
